Richard gets the time-organization ascpects of Radio for personal knowledge management. When it gets to files and e-mails, it gets really interesting.

Dan Gillmor writes a review of Radio.
"The folks at Userland have released a truly remarkable product, the somewhat incongruously named Radio Userland. This subtitle, "The power of Web publishing on your desktop," tells you about only part of the power.
It took just minutes -- and I wasn't working very fast -- from the time I downloaded the software to when I had my own Radio page on the Web. Radio makes it easy to start a site. The stuff under the hood will take novices a fair amount of work to plumb deeply, but they'll find real power."

Dan Gillmor. Google replaces the need for domains. I agree. This is one of the secrets behind the power of personal Weblogging. We are no longer under the tyranny of the Portals and other "branded" domains. So... this means that if you write a good Weblog about a given product or topic that you know alot about, people can find you directly, without having to go throught the process of buying a topic specific domain or going to a big catalogue like Yahoo. Nice...

Good morning. It's snowing outside Boston. A nice gentle flow. I remember reading that Syracuse got 7 ft of snow in a week last month. I wonder what would happen to the south or CA if they got 7 feet of snow? I remember when I was caught in the south 9 years ago during a major snowfall of three feet. Chaos. No snow plows. One lane of the highway was open and everyone was travelling at 10 MPH. The exits where blocked with 2-3 feet of snow.
