Reuters.  New research on smoking and the brain.  Current smokers have a 70% reduced risk of Parkinsons. >>>With regard to smoking, one hypothesis, the researchers note, is that cigarette smoke protects against Parkinson's by inhibiting certain enzymes that can have toxic effects on brain cells.
