Reuters.  A new report from Jupiter found that people that use a P2P system actually spend more money on music than they did before before they began using it.  This makes sense.  These systems rekindle excitement in music (something the music industry through its excessive micromanagement of trends has a done a good job to dampen).  It allows people to try (new groups and genres) before they buy. It's also true that people really do like to support the artists that they like. Morpheus and Kazaa should buy a copy of this report and put it on their websites and bundle it with the download of their tool.  >>>``The Internet is the greatest thing that ever happened to the music industry, and they're just missing out on cashing in on it,'' Sinnreich (the report's author) told Reuters.<<<
