Here is a fear that I have been dreading for a while:  the US has become Israel.  We needed a target for our rightous indignation and thirst for revenge re: 9/11.  The long slow process of terrorist hunting wasn't enough to satisfy this need.  We didn't have Palestinians to beat up on so we manufactured them in Iraq. 3:58:41 AM    Comment_

Just finished listening to an interview with Israeli anti-terrorists on the BBC.  They agree with me in that the US problem in Baghdad won't be a Nablus it will be a Grozny.  3:55:10 AM    Comment_
