No sense being pessimistic. It wouldn't work anyway.

InfoWorld:  All US flights to have e-mail by 2004.  Here's the downside:

"United Air Lines announced a deal with Tenzing last week to provide e-mail on approximately 400 of its North American domestic flights by the end of this year. The service piggybacks on United's JetConnect service, offered with Verizon Communications, and is priced at $15.98 for up to 2KB of data, and $0.10 for each additional kilobyte."  Are they insane?

Boeing's Connexion high speed connection service makes much more sense (although I couldn't find any pricing for it).  Also, given the rate Boeing is losing contracts to Airbus, we may never see it.

Hey, this proves there have been hot stocks over the past 2 years (Marvel Enterprises: MVL).  It's nearly a 20 bagger.  Check out this price chart for the last 2 years.  Who would have known that old comics could turn into entertainment franchises?

Here is a Wired.com ad for the Toyota Prius (a very cool car).  It offers a subscription to news about the car.  Why not an RSS feed?

It was a rainy day in Boston yesterday so I took my son Aaron to see the Hulk.  It was a good movie.  The most interesting thing about the movie was the idea of a military run organization out there determining what was "good" science and what was "bad" science.  If you were a relative loner doing science on the border of bad, they locked you up.  Of course, the concept of good vs. bad science is really dependent on who is doing it and who has their hands in the till.
