A credit card sized cell phone?  Wow.  Makes you think that if they get rid of the buttons and screen you could slip it into your wallet, pocket, or purse and forget about it.  All the control would be in your headset using voice controls (like Wildfire's breakthrough voice interface).

Saddam looks really out of it here (frankly, there isn't a better set of photos of Saddam available on the Internet today):

Troops with digital cameras take some amateur pics of Saddam's capture.  I made them a little smaller so the bandwidth bill isn't too high.

CNet.  Yahoo and RSS.  The identification of Google/Blogger with a rival format to the exceedingly popular RSS syndication format will likely push Yahoo to adopt RSS as is.  It's the right move to make because it prevents Google (and IBM) from grabbing control of the syndication standard and it confirms what is already the defacto standard.

SSI (PDF report).  Jeffrey Record hits the mark again:  Bounding the Global War on Terrorism.

...the global war on terrorism as currently defined and waged is dangerously indescriminate and ambitious, and accordingly its parameters should be readjusted to conform to concrete US interests and the limits of American power.

NOTE:  What I like about this report is that it recognizes that US power isn't unlimited. It also points out that large scale operations, like Iraq, serve to rapidly deplete those limited resources and distract us from our real objectives.

Parameters (Army War College Publication -- Jeffrey Record):  The Bush Doctrine and War with Iraq.   Well reasoned critique of pre-emptive war.  Sounds very much like my critique published at the same time.
