Dave brings up a good point. What if there is an open political information system? What would it look like? First, it would be a Wiki. A Wiki that is built via the contributions of thousands of dedicated contributors. Detailing every political or governmental action that occurs in the US. Everything that can be captured, should be published (video and audio too -- perhaps an alliance with C-Span would provide a great resource for this). Weblogs may be a good way to detail additions to this resource.
