 Back from Bloggercon.  Good sessions and very interesting off-line discussions.  BTW, I talked with Dan Gillmor who mentioned that I am in his new book "Making the News."  This is very cool -- worth a click to Amazon when it is published given what I have read so far.  Dave and his team at Berkman did a great job.

 Reuters.  Another non-state terrorist network signs up to kill Americans.  This is part of the fall-out from the assassinaton policies adopted by the US and Israel (more on why assassination doesn't destabilize non-state networks like Hamas on Global Guerrillas).  In contrast, most 4th generation warfare (what we are in right now) experts recommend de-escalation as the central focus of successful counter-terrorist strategy. 

"It was Bush." The verdict was near unanimous amid the tears and rage on Palestinian streets after Israel killed Hamas leader Abdel-Aziz al-Rantissi in an air strike Saturday that many Arabs felt President Bush must have approved...

On the streets of Gaza, there were many calls for Hamas to change its longstanding strategy of attacking only Israelis and to start killing Americans too.
