Two new attacks on oil pipelines in Iraq. A Katyusha rocket hit a pipeline complex (it will take days to control). A pipeline to Baiji refinery was hit again.

The New Yorker. Seymour Hersh writes about active covert engagement with Iran. He runs out material and dives into the DoD's rapidly multiplying covert/clandestine capability (my old turf). Active military engagement with Iran and Syria would turn most of the ME into a giant TAZ -- the perfect environment for the rise of a massive global guerrilla bazaar. We live in interesting times...
